Why Use a Down Burst Seeder?

Spreading the proper amount of seed is critical to the success of any planting and is often the most difficult part to get right, especially when planting tiny seed at low seed rates.  Down Burst Seeders were created to make it easy to get it right - the first time - in one pass - at any speed.

• Consistent 5ft spreading width coupled with a ground wheel driven seed meter allows the machine to plant small seeds with the precision and seed rate accuracy of a grain drill.

• Compact size and precise spread width make it possible to plant in very tight and or narrow locations where a grain drill would not fit, or where a conventional broadcast spreader would launch seed past the edges of the field.

• Since there are no ground engaging elements (coulters, openers, etc) you are free to make tight turns or even plant in reverse which can drastically reduce the time it takes to plant a field.

• Straight-forward, efficient design has very few moving parts and is easy to maintain.
